The devil came to Manchester, he was looking for a fight.
Ever since that Georgia boy beat him he’s been wantin to test his might
When he came across this old man, watchin’ his team playin'  hot.
The devil walked onto the pitch and said: "Man let me tell you what:
"I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a soccer player too.
"And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.
"Now you boys play a pretty good game, but give the devil his due:
"I bet a medal of gold against your souls, 'cos I think I'm better than you."
The man said: "My name's Fergie and it might be a sin,
"But I'll take your bet, your gonna regret, 'cos we’re the best that's ever been."

Fergie you build up your team and play your football hard.
'Cos hells loose in Manchester and the devil plays it hard.
And if you win you get this shiny medal made of gold.
